Directions

Akigawa Baptist Church is very easy to find. It is located on the Itsukaichi-kaido, about 400 meters east of the Akigawa Farmers Center. It is just a 5 minute walk from the Higashi-Akiru train station.

Traveling by Train

(Enter "higashiakiru" for in the "to" section, and your nearest train station in the "from" section. Then click "Search."

*When you arrive at Higashi-Akiru station, there are two exits. Take the exit to your right, which is the north exit.
Go straight past the taxi-turnaround and you will see a street going slightly uphill.
Take that street to the dead-end, and you will be facing the "Park" grocery store.
Turn right, and you will see our building about 100 meters down the road on the left.

*If you are coming from the west, the church is very easy to see. As soon as you pass the Torino Pizza restaurant and the Yaguruma Sushi restaurant, look to your left, and you will be able to see it very easily. From the east, it is also fairly easy. The church is located on a slight hill. Once you start coming up the hill, all you need to do is look for the cross above the housetops on the right hand side. If you get to the two restaurants you've passed it up. Just turn around and try the other direction :)

Parking

We are currently in the process of getting as many parking spots as we can. We have two parking spots that are reserved for guests on the church property. These two spots are right underneath the deck, so feel free to just pull in! We also have three available parking spots in a parking lot that is located on the street directly facing the church.
