Kids Club

At Akigawa BC, it is our goal to have a place where kids can have fun, spend time with great friends, and learn important lessons of life at the same time.

Our Kids Club time is divided up into four sections.

We start by singing fun songs that kids love to sing. We sing a wide variety of songs: high-speed songs, contest songs, silly songs, boys-against-girls songs, and so many others!
Then we move on to the English time taught by Mrs. Carter. The children get to learn easy, everyday English through fun activities and games. Each child gets to participate, and they are sure to learn something new each week!
The Bible time is always exciting as the amazing stories of the Bible are brought to life through the flannelgraph story telling system. These stories are not only fun to listen to, but they also teach children important lessons about life that are found in the Bible.
We finish with a thrilling, suspense filled game that keeps kids on the edge of their seat!

One of the Highlights of Kids Club is a real treasure chest that is filled with toys that the children can trade with jewels that they earn each week. There are several different ways that kids can earn jewels.

- You get one jewel just by coming to Kids Club!
- You can also use a jewel by bringing a small offering.
- You can earn a jewel by bringing your Bible to Kids Club.
* A Bible is given to each child who comes to Kids Club for the first time.
- You can also earn five jewels for bringing a friend for the first time.
- Each person who comes for the first time also gets five jewels.
*Akigawa BC also uses a program called Kings Kids to teach children important Bible verses and life-lessons.
- Each time you pass a lesson, you earn one jewel.
- Each time you clear a level, which is usually four lessons, you earn three jewels.

*Every 2nd week is called "Double Day," where all the children's jewels that they earn that week are doubled!
